When my wife and I were looking for a "staycation" to celebrate our anniversary, the Sanctuary Beach Resort was near the top of our list! A quiet, beachfront location with outstanding ocean views is the perfect setting for your elopement ceremony. The resort is located in Marina, just about 8 minutes from Monterey. The Sanctuary Beach Resort has beautiful, newly remodeled (2024) guest rooms and suites with fireplaces that are within walking distance of their private beach. For weddings, they have guests rooms where you can get ready and walk outside your patio door and on to the sand! The views are amazing and for a small reception, they do have one of the best restaurants in town (Salt Wood Kitchen & Oysterette) as well as private event spaces featuring floor to ceiling windows overlooking decks with views of the sand dunes.
