Enhancements to Your Elopement
Not all elopement ceremonies in Monterey or Big Sur or Carmel are the same. We can tailor a package for you with some add-on items to make your wedding ceremony everything you have always wanted.
Wedding Consulting: Do you need a little more assistance? You can add our Comprehensive Planners Package to any of your elopement packages. If you feel that you need a full-time wedding planner or a day-of coordinator, please contact us for a list of great planners that we recommend.
Flowers: We work with one of the top 10 florists in the United States (locally based), and they have been great - even with last-minute additions. If you need a bouquet, a boutonniere, or any floral decor, we can assist. See our photo gallery of recent florals from our florist. Wedding Arches & Decor: With our smaller packages and our micro permit, arches, chairs, and decor are not allowed. However, there are larger permits that would allow for these items. https://www.weddingsinmonterey.com/wedding-arches.html
Hotel Accommodations: Staying in the right hotel can make all the difference in the world for your overall wedding elopement experience. Our owners have stayed at or visited over 140 hotels and inns on the Monterey Peninsula. We can provide free, friendly advice tailored to your preferences. Since we know many of the managers at local hotels, we can do our best to get you an upgrade as well (see our Romantic Room Decorations idea below -- with one of these decorations, an upgrade is much more likely).
Photography: All but one of our elopement packages includes at least 1 hour of professional photography (you can add more time!). Would you like us to capture all of the moments from getting ready through driving off to dinner? Our award-winning photographer(s) can set up a timeline to ensure you have all of your memories. You receive all the edited images as digital downloads to share and print (on average, 80-120 images per hour)! Sample Couples Portraits
Ceremony Music: If you would like to include music for your processional (walking down the aisle), recessional (after the kiss), and during your photo shoot, just let us know. We have music packages starting at just $75 and a sound package witha professional microphone and stand for $95.
Videography: We work with several fantastic videographers who specialize in elopements and do fantastic work! Their fees vary, but a one-hour rate starts at about $750.
Romantic Hotel Room Decorations: Through our sister company, Romantic Celebrations, we will transform your hotel room with rose petals and candles to set the mood. An array of other items can be added, including a bathtub design, "Just Married" balloons, and more.
Fantastic Decor Options: See our gallery of options. Note: Vintage Decor Items have a minimum rental fee (total) of $500 (including the delivery fee).
Wedding Designer: Do you have a vision for your elopement but need some extra help developing a plan? Our wedding designer is available to consult with you to make your dreams a reality ($250, not including decor items or on-site time for decorating). She is awesome at her job and, aside from weddings, has assisted in dozens of wedding proposals.
