Pop-Up Weddings on the Monterey Peninsula
For the past 14 years, we have been assisting couples with setting up beautiful weddings that are considered "small" in scale. One question that we often get is, "How much time do you need to plan our wedding?" With our experience and network of vendors, we have been able to plan many of our weddings with just a few weeks notice. But what if you are interested in a "pop-up" wedding? You just decided to get married, not tell anyone (although you may end up inviting a couple of witnesses) and you want to have your ceremony.....this Thursday. Impossible?
My wife, one of our planners and photographer, got a last minute call from a man we will call "Gabe" who was interested in proposing. She gets a lot of these calls -- even days before the proposal is set to take place. With Gabe, the difference was that he was going to propose in the late morning....and get married later that afternoon (he was super confident she would say "yes", right?) We not only helped plan his proposal with a local hotel, we also planned for his wedding (which included a few family and friends he let in on his little secret). From getting down on one knee to saying, "I Do" and enjoying their wedding celebration, it was all planned in 72 hours. Just about anything is possible.
