Located in sunny Carmel Valley (it tends to be about 10 degrees warmer out in the valley with very little chance for any fog), Bernardus is a Forbes, 4-star rated hotel that offers luxury accommodations in a relaxed, vineyard setting. They have several beautiful venues for your elopement including your own private villa (with patio), a ceremony lawn bordering a rose garden and the vineyard and a fountain lawn. Their Elopement Package includes:
• Your elopement ceremony at one of their beautiful ceremony sites (rose garden or garden terrace for up to 2 hours)
• Garden folding chairs (if required) and table(s) with ivory Frette linen
• A champagne toast to celebrate with your guests (up to 12 total people including the couple)
• Professional wedding officiant (Couples Choice Award winner as top 5% in the country from 2012-2023) creating a beautiful ceremony with your preferences incorporated. Signing of the license you bring to the ceremony site and quick return back to the county clerks office.
• Professional wedding photographer (one of the top pro's on the Monterey Peninsula) with one hour of photography. All edited images (expect about 80) are delivered to you via digital download so that you can print or share your happy day with friends and family.
• Your choice of (2) bouquets, (2) boutonnieres or (1) of each
• Hotel's day of wedding professional to assist you and work alongside our team at Elope In Monterey to ensure a wonderful and memorable experience
• By booking through ElopeInMonterey.com, you not only get our outstanding officiant and photographer team, but we are providing a $75 wedding print credit. We have worked with the staff at the hotel since 2010.
• Available Monday - Thursday. Reservations can be made (30) days prior to the requested date (based on availability)
• If you are looking for a private dining option afterward, Bernardus has some lovely outdoor and indoor spaces.
